In the third quarter of 2024, the top maps and navigation apps on the Android platform in the Czech Republic displayed varying trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Mapy.cz: maps & navigation maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 5K and 9K. Active users initially hovered around 222K but saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 207K.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced weekly downloads ranging from 7K to 8K, showing a steady pattern throughout the quarter. Active users started at around 95K, peaked at about 98K mid-September, and concluded the quarter at approximately 94K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a decline in weekly downloads from over 5K at the start of the quarter to about 3.7K by the end. Active user numbers started at approximately 149K and decreased gradually to around 138K by the end of September.

Czech Public Transport IDOS showed a notable spike in weekly downloads, peaking at around 6.7K in early September. The app's active users increased significantly from about 540K to a peak of 698K in early September before settling at approximately 675K by the end of the quarter.
